Lytte-session med kunstner Tina Mariane Krogh Madsen i regi af udstillingen Jordens Stofskifte, hvor der fokuseres på en sanselig-geologisk bevidsthed om et steds infrastruktur.
Lidt om konteksten: Jordens Stofskifte er en solo-udstilling af Tina Mariane Krogh Madsen som finder sted i XM3 – rum for samtidskunst i Aalborg Øst fra den 5. maj til og med den 29. maj 2023. Gennem performative greb arbejdes der med naturens egne processer og� dens tilstand som tema, hvor værkerne alle er udførte som dialoger mellem materier, vind og vejr. Madsen ønsker her at fokusere på hvad der sker omkring os og hvorledes menneskelige og ikke-menneskelige aktører påvirker hinanden, deres affektive tilstande og relationer. For at introducere og fokusere på en sanselige tilgang til at forstå de processer, som foregår omkring os, vil Madsen i løbet af udstillingen facilitere lokale lytte-sessions knyttet til udtillingens tematik på udvalgte steder i Aalborg og Nørresundby. Disse sessions tager udgangspunkt i lytte-score publikationen “stedets fortættede geologi – affektiv lytning med et (post)industrielt landskab” som Madsen har skabt specifikt til denne kontekst. De planlagte lytte-sessions vil her være dialoger med lokaliteter, deres karakteristika og potentialer, geologi og mineralogi, konstruktion samt sociale fællesskaber.
Den anden lytte-session finder sted søndag den 14. maj kl. 14-15.30 i området ved Lindholm kridtgrav. Alle deltagere vil få en udgave af den trykte publikation og Madsen vil facilitere en sanselig og affektiv lytteoplevelse med nærområdet.

Listening session with artist Tina Mariane Krogh Madsen as a part of the exhibition The Metabolism of the Earth currently at XM3 – space for contemporary art, with a focus on sensory-geological awareness and the infrastructure(s) of place.
About the context: The Metabolism of the Earth is a solo-exhibition by Tina Mariane Krogh Madsen which takes place in XM3 – rum for samtidskunst (space for contemporary art) from May 5. to 29. 2023. Through performative grips, it works with nature’s own processes and its state as the thematic framework where the artworks are all created as dialogues and collaborative processes between matter, wind, and weather. Madsen here wants to focus on what is happening around us and how human and non-human agents are influencing each other, their affective states and relationships. In order to introduce and focus on a sensory approach to understanding the processes that take place around us, during the exhibition Madsen will facilitate local listening sessions linked to the theme of the exhibition at selected locations in Aalborg and Nørresundby. These sessions are based on the listening-score publication “the composite geology of place – affective listening with a (post)industrial landscape” which Madsen has created specifically for this framework. The planned listening sessions will here be dialogues with localities, their characteristics and potentials, geology and mineralogy, construction and social communities.
This second listening session will take place on Sunday May 14th at 14-15.30 in the area around Lindholm Kridtgrav (chalk pit). All participants will receive a copy of the printed publication. Please register at: info (at) tmkm.dk
